As most already know, Greek cuisine was crowned the Best Cuisine in the World for 2024 by TasteAtlas users; additionally, Greece has been celebrated in the 2024 USNews surveys as the Most Beautiful and Scenic country, the destination with the Best Heritage, and the country with the Most Pleasant Climate, among other accolades.
Gastrotourism (or Food- or Culinary Tourism), an exploration of Greece’s rich flavors and the origins of its culinary treasures, can be a powerful tool for creating sustainable destinations.
