Certified GASTRΟtourism
Under our Certification scheme, called Greek.food.tour Cert, we integrate Chefs, Recipes, and Products in certified Hotels, Restaurants and Production workshops, so that customers get a full experience, not only tasting but also knowing the products and also visiting the production facilites and meet some of the producers. A portfolio of services/ programs are designed with experienced chefs and local agents and offerd by our Network: from a few-hours cooking class to to multi-day complete packages of culinary tours for foodies. All activities focus on Greek culinary tradition, and include authentic local recipes to the participants and packed information about Mediterranean Diet and its benefits; a trained and certified chef or/and travel agent helps the participants to make the most of their experience using the gained knowledge on food, cooking and health even after leaving Greece.
Note: all categories (chefs, programs, operators, venues etc) are allocated 1 or 2 stars according to experience and organization depth to implement food-tourism activities & packages. In the case of Professionals the stars are expressed in “Chef Hats“, whereas in the case of Programs and Venues the stars are in the form of traditional “Cooking Pots“.
ΣΗΜΑ ΓΑΣΤΡΟΤΟΥΡΙΣΜΟΥ
Με το Σήμα Πιστοποίησης GreekFoodTour Cert, οι χώροι φιλοξενίας οι και επαγγελματίες που σχετίζονται με (τοπική & αυθεντική) διατροφή, έχουν τη δυνατότητα να προσφέρουν βιωματικές και βιώσιμες υπηρεσίες τουρισμού φαγητού, χρησιμοποιώντας τα τοπικά τρόφιμα και τη σχέση τους με την Υγεία και τον Πολιτισμό. Στο πλαίσιο του Σήματος, εμπλέκουμε σεφ, ξενοδοχεία, εστιατόρια, συνταγές και προϊόντα που εμφανίζονται στα πιστοποιημένα σημεία εστίασης, έτσι ώστε οι επισκέπτες να έχουν μια πλήρη εμπειρία, όχι μόνο δοκιμάζοντας και γνωρίζοντας την προέλευση, αλλά και επισκεπτόμενοι τις εγκαταστάσεις παραγωγής, συναντώντας μερικούς από τους παραγωγούς. Ένα χαρτοφυλάκιο γαστροτουριστικών υπηρεσιών έχει σχεδιαστεί με έμπειρους τοπικούς πράκτορες και ξενοδόχους και προσφέρονται από το Δίκτυό μας, με τοπικές συνταγές προς τους συμμετέχοντες, πληροφορίες για τη Μεσογειακή Διατροφή και έναν πιστοποιημένο σεφ ή/και συνοδό που βοηθά τους συμμετέχοντες να αξιοποιήσουν στο έπακρο την εμπειρία και τις γνώσεις γαστρονομίας που αποκτήθηκαν.
Σημ: η βαθμολόγηση γίνεται σε μια κλίμακα 2 αστεριών: “Σκούφοι” των Επαγγελματιών και “Τσουκάλια” των Προγραμμάτων και Εγκαταστάσεων
Programs/Services
The main categories of the services and programs we certify, offerred by our affiliated network partners, include:
- Workshops, with a duration of a few hours: Cooking Class, Tasting, Master Class, Wine Tasting, Food pairing etc.
- Culinary tours, typically with half a day duration, include visits to Farms, Olive Groves & Olive Mills, Vineyards, Artisan Workshops etc.
- Seminars with material about Med Diet, Nutrition, Food & Health, Food cultural traditions , local products, local biodiversity and sustainability – independend courses or part of an integrated activity
- Culinary Packages, that span 3-6 days of food-related trips, visits and workshops, usually a combination of the above

Προγράμματα / Υπηρεσίες
Οι κύριες κατηγορίες των υπηρεσιών που προσφέρονται από τους συνεργάτες του δικτύου μας, περιλαμβάνουν:
- Εργαστήρια, διάρκειας λίγων ωρών: μάθημα μαγειρικής, γευσιγνωσίες, Master Class, ταίριασμα φαγητού-κρασιού κλπ.
- Γαστρο-εκδρομές, με διάρκεια μισής/μιας ημέρας, με επισκέψεις σε ελαιώνες, αμπελώνες, εργαστήρια παραγωγής κλπ.
- Σεμινάρια με εκπαίδευση για Μεσογειακή Διατροφή, τρόφιμα και υγεία, πολιτιστικές παραδόσεις, βιοποικιλότητα/ αειφορία – ανεξάρτητα ή μέρος μιας ολοκληρωμένης δραστηριότητας
- Γαστρο-πακέτα, με 3-6 ημέρες δράσεων, επισκέψεων σε εργαστήρια – και συνδυασμός των παραπάνω
